AMERICAN COMPANIES GIVE BACK

Entered in Pro Bono

Objectives

“American Companies Give Back” is a series of short video segments that celebrate the myriad ways in which companies give back -- supporting their communities and employees, especially in these difficult times.

Each video is designed to shine a light on the benefits of corporate giving and corporate citizenship. We will cover a range of companies; from large corporations to startups and “mom and pop” shops. Whatever their scale, these companies that give back deserve their moment in the spotlight.

Strategy and Execution

This series is 100% virtually-produced project. The narratives are driven by original Zoom interviews between the series host (Emmy and Peabody award-winning TV personality Ken Bastida) and guest (featured employees from the profiled companies).

All members of the production team are working pro bono, with Seattle-based Bayside Entertainment donating production services for the series.

“American Companies Give Back” stories will be shared on Ignyte TV, a new Roku streaming channel dedicated to sustainability and philanthropy. Segments will also be shared via YouTube, Facebook and other social channels.

Each story includes a blog post, :10 teaser, and segment - giving partner companies multiple pieces of promotional content. Participants are encouraged to share not only their story, but the stories of all the companies in the series -- with a goal of inspiring more viewers.

Produced by husband and wife Emmy award-winning production team Steve Wynn and Joanie Burton Wynn, this is their way of giving back, using their storytelling skills to deliver good news at a time when it feels in short supply.
