IZEA x Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast: Wellness Within

Objectives

IZEA executed an influencer campaign to position Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast as an empathetic expert trying to demystify women’s intimate health appointments. The campaign focused on informing people about their appointments and encouraged patients to feel confident and empowered when attending in-person appointments.

Strategy and Execution

IZEA tapped creators in the Gulf Coast area to create Instagram carousel posts and Stories sharing the ease of booking or experience setting in-person visits to Planned Parenthood appointments. 

Creators highlighted the key messaging that PPGC is a caring, safe space where any sexual health questions are welcome. They also highlighted the availability of same-day appointments, extended hours, birth control options and a non-judgemental atmosphere. They reminded their followers that most insurance is accepted and anyone is welcome. While the core audience was cis-gender females, the campaign appealed to any gender identity.

Promoted posts reached target audiences in Texas and Louisiana between the ages of 18 and 29.

 

Results

The campaign received an overwhelmingly positive response. IZEA is proud to have collaborated with Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast on such an important initiative. It was a privilege to help spread the message of inclusivity, safety, and understanding that PPGC stands for. 

Our creators’ content garnered 342,793 engagements and 2.4 million total impressions. Our engagement rate was 12.5% compared with 5.51% for the average medical vertical.
