Objectives

When companies have an authentic voice that celebrates their employees as individuals, that’s when they become indispensable. Employers and employees at Spotify know that they can come to work and be their truest selves. But how does one show the progressiveness of Spotify through exciting content that highlights what can be seen as dry HR fine print? Identify the most unique benefits the company offers and feature the real people whose lives they have changed. 

Strategy and Execution

Our Transgender Benefits video focused on the inclusiveness that Spotify embodies through the breakthrough benefits and programs it provides to make sure their employees feel like themselves at work. All told from the perspectives of the Transgender employees themselves. The video highlights everything from pronoun usage, LGBTQ+ resource groups, and how Spotify is covering the medical costs of masculine and feminization treatments recommended by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. 

Results

The video resulted in over 65K views across social and a wave of positive sentiment from fans. With this testimonial, Spotify was able to put a face to Transgender Benefits, and show how their philosophy for innovation isn't limited to technology. Spotify demonstrated to employees and the larger audience alike how their open-minded progressive approach impacts their LGBTQ+ colleagues and is one of the core reasons they are re-inventing how we think about what a company can represent.
