Teen Vogue's "Ask A Girl" Series

Entered in Social Justice

Objectives

As part of Teen Vogue's innovative new brand direction that aims to amplify unheard voices, our "Ask A Girl" series highlights female voices in marginalized spaces, from young Native American women whose culture is often misrepresented to young Muslim women facing harassment.

Strategy and Execution

The video series features one-on-one interviews with young women of various backgrounds discussing their life experiences, with each installment being leveraged across Teen Vogue's multiple platforms: onsite (10.7MM UVs Jan - June 2017) and across social (11MM+ followers).

Each platform (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) features a unique video cut suitable for the brand's different platform audience. In-depth story posts onsite further contextualize the story, amplifying the stars' perspectives to Teen Vogue's millions of online readers.
