Objective

We Are Teachers is more than a website, it is a proud community of educators— 3.9 million strong—who share ideas, resources, and stories of the amazing things happening in classrooms around the country. We’re in this together, advocating for educator voices to be heard, for better teacher pay and working conditions, and for a more sustainable and inclusive teaching profession. Daily, our brand publishes completely free content for teachers including printables, classroom ideas, teaching advice, trending education stories, and giveaways. 

Working with over 500 educators, we represent teacher voice across the United States and believe: 

• Teachers are the real education experts.
• Kids are individuals.
• Diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the heart of our work. 
• Everyone deserves to feel sage at school.
• Teachers are human.
• Educators should be paid like professional. 

Through our work, we strive to make these beliefs accepted principles across the country and a reality for all educators and students. 

Strategy

We meet teachers where they are and offer resources they need the most. Through our engaged social audiences on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, and LinkedIn, we spread the word about the value we provide to educators every day. We also offer over 15 newsletter emails, giving educators the targeted resources they need directly to their inbox.

We're successful in engaging our audience with relatable memes and humorous content while also providing concrete advice on more serious situations like lack of resources, unsupportive administration, or difficult parent conversations. 

Notably, in December 2023, we launched our biggest teacher giveaway to date! With over 10,000 in prizes, each day in December deserving educators across the country won exciting prizes including gift cards, a laminator, AirPods, school supplies, and so much more.
