Transgender Awareness Week - Allies A.S.K

Objective

Transgender Awareness Week, observed November 13 to November 19, is a one-week celebration leading up to the Transgender Day of Remembrance, which memorializes victims of transphobic violence.  Partnering with MTV and Active Minds, Paramount+ posed a question to transgender actors: What they would tell their younger selves in honor of A.S.K. (Acknowledge their struggles, Support their journey, and Keep in touch to show you care)?

Strategy

Paramount+ collaborated with MTV and Active Minds to commemorate Transgender Awareness Week with a 3 part series called Allies A.S.K.. A.S.K. is a new action plan for providing emotional support to anyone who needs it. The best way to be an ally is to A.S.K.  This series features 3 queens from RuPaul's Drag Race who define an A.S.K. step and advise on how to apply them from the lens of allyship.

Results

The Allies A.S.K. teaser garnered 1.1M organic views and 43K likes on Instagram. The Allies A.S.K. 3 part series garnered 310,408 views and 7k engagements on Instagram.
