Logitech's National #WFANYWHEREWEEK2019

Objectives

Leverage social media, PR and partner outreach to position Logitech brands as leaders in the evolution of our global workspace.  With remote work becoming more prominent and effective, Logitech provides the technology solutions to allow for seamless and productive working environments for employees to be able to #WorkFromAnywhere.

Strategy and Execution

To position Logitech as a leader in the evolution of the global workspace, an integrated social media, influencer and PR campaign was executed from October 1, 2019 through October 11, 2019.  #WorkFromAnywhere Week was October 7 – 11, which is when the majority of social content went live along with teaser content publishing on Logitech platforms the prior week. 

 

For the social media campaign, the objective was to drive a compelling narrative - supported by a travel giveaway - via a targeted social media strategy aimed at product awareness and overall engagement.  The brand social media content was a mix of influencer content and user generated content from the community fitting the overall #WorkFromAnywhere story.  Users were encouraged to respond to specific CTAs during #WorkFromAnywhere Week on Logitech brand social posts to be entered to win a prize pack including relevant products and a $1,000 VISA travel gift card to be used towards travel.  The prize pack was tied into the campaign by providing three lucky winners chosen at random to be provided with travel funds and Logitech products to allow them to #WorkFromAnywhere.

 

We partnered with 9 influencers to produce content outlining their relevant stories, which was shared on both the influencer channels and Logitech social channels during #WorkFromAnywhere Week, encouraging our audiences to enter the giveaway.  The influencer lineup spanned entrepreneurs, coders, students, wellness enthusiasts and world travelers – all threaded together by the idea that they take work wherever the world takes them.

 

From a PR standpoint, multiple publications, such as USA Today, published articles surrounding the topic of #WorkFromAnywhere around the same time as the social and influencer campaign.  Sponsored content through outlets like Career Contessa were also rolled out online.

 

Partnerships with other companies were another vital aspect of the #WorkFromAnywhere Week campaign.  Logitech partnered with companies such as Microsoft, Zoom, Google, BlueJeans, and Upwork to help spread the #WorkFromAnywhere narrative, encouraging remote work lifestyles around the globe.
